Pruitt Creations - Linda Pruitt
Hi!
This is the place to find all things creative! As the owner of Pruitt Creations, I am an artist who uses many different mediums for creating! I love textiles, watercolor, charcoal / pencil drawing, creative writing, photography --- almost anything creative!
You will find several tabs across the top of the home page:
Blogs--
- My site opens to my original blog that explores creativity -- in photography, quilting and more practical creations, both mine and that of other creative artists!
- The other blog is my art and creative writing blog, called Abigail's Attic--reflections written from the mind of my pseudonymous alter ego--Abigail Jayne. This blog is exclusively devoted my textile art addiction; to my watercolor art and illustations for my creative writing projects. And, sometimes, just anything creatively artistic!
Hope you will subscribe and follow the creative adventure!

Textiles--in both shops:
With a love of textiles, and plenty of time to create, I have enjoyed making all kinds of fabric handiwork-- both gifts and practicalities, for my family and for sale. In-between grandkids' recitals and sports events, my volunteering activities, scrounging local estate sales and vending at local craft shows (with my granddaughter's help), I find time to run my art business. I literally love keeping busy!!! Most days I cannot wait to be creative.
Wholesale--
I also have wholesale customers that love my work! My aprons are sold in gift shops locally (along with a few other items that I produce). They sell to happy customers who enjoy the quality of my work. You can read about the making of an apron here.
Personal Creativity:
And . . yes . . . I quilt! I Love QUILTS! Love going to quilt shows, or anywhere that quilts are displayed. Love shopping for fabrics and LOVE piecing quilt tops and trying all different designs, both traditional style and contemporary. Of course, when one makes quilts, there are leftovers--scraps--so I use them up! Sew . . . I make all kinds of gifts and practicalities and love doing it! You can benefit from my scraps--just visit my Etsy shop here.
Who am I?

| Youngest and eldest grands |
I am a Breast Cancer Survivor and Grandmother of 26 grandchildren from cradle to college aged (that's not so many when one has ten children!) I am an all-around creative person! I occasionally blog about family (but won't bore you with constant bombardment of the family pictures), but mostly, about inspiration and creativity.
I am an artist and writer, as described above. And I love to explore new creative mediums. I save and upcycle all kinds of things, i.e. clean paper bags to work on later. Paper Bag Art is one of the most original things I have done! My granddaughter's teacher wanted to learn how to do it, so her class could make them! See my tutorial on Paper Bag Art in a previous post! (Also other tutorials can be found under the Tutorial Tab on the home page.)
